<p class="run-inhead"><img src="../images/ht_01.gif" alt="How To icon" height="2" width="2" /><br> Create a scrolling or crawling title</p><p class="paragraph">In scrolling titles, text moves vertically; in crawling titles, text moves horizontally.</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="bold">1.</span> In the task bar, hold down the Titles button <img src="../images/C_Text_22x22_N.gif" alt="Titles button " height="16" width="15" /> and select Scrolling Title or Crawling Title.</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="bold">2.</span> In the Adobe Title Designer, click the Type tool <img src="../images/Type.gif" alt="Type tool " height="13" width="12" />.</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="bold">3.</span> Click where you want to begin typing, and type your text. Press Enter to type a new line. </p><p class="paragraph"><span class="bold">4. </span>Use the scroll bar at either the side or bottom of the title window to preview your motion. Note that text will not scroll or crawl unless it extends beyond the screen.</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="bold">5. </span>After you fine-tune your text, click the More button, and choose Roll/Crawl Options.</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="bold">6.</span> Do one of the following, and then click OK:</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="bold">·</span> For a scrolling title, select Timing options to specify where the title starts and ends.</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="bold">·</span> For a crawling title, select a Crawl Direction option.</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="bold">7.</span> (Optional) Click the Selection tool <img src="../images/P_Select_Lg_N.gif" alt="Selection tool " height="17" width="12" />, and drag the text to reposition it, or drag the corner or side handles to resize it. </p><p class="paragraph"><span class="bold">8.</span> Save and close the title.</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="bold">9.</span> Add the title to the project.
